With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Fortier Shahine in Saint Bernard, Louisiana, who passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel L. Shahine Sr. Loving; her son Samuel Shahine (Christy); her parents, Lawrence Fortier and Louisa Villemarette Fortier; and her grandchild Casey Shahine.

She is survived by: her son Robert Shahine (Mary Jayne); her grandchildren, Robert Shahine, Jr. (Jennifer), David Shahine (Bonnie), Jaymie Bonomo, Aimee Casiano (Randy), Samuel Shahine III and Devin Shahine (Alyssa); and her great grandchildren, Faithlyn, Carolyn, Ellyn, Jaxson, Casey, Camryn, Aubrey, Ryker and Brayven. She is also survived by many neighbors and dear friends.
