She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Houston "Red" Bowman; her daughter Kathleen Bowman Daniels; her parents, William Lewis and Mary Guerra Stander; her siblings, Bill Stander, Sam Stander, Lee Stander and Kate Robin; and her son-in-law James B. "Rudy" Vollentine.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristie Bowman Vollentine; her granddaughters, Jeanne Robin, Kathie Robin and Bea J. Vollentine Girard (Mario); and her great grandchildren, Lacie, JoLeen and Skylar. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and the Sisters.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (2508 Bayou Rd, St Bernard, LA 70085). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
