It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Moncrief Nastasi (Saint Benedict, Louisiana), who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. “I met Kathy several years ago when I became a volunteer docent at Saint Joseph Abbey. It was a joy to visit with her often when she booked me for tours at the Abbey. As an alumnus and lay oblate of the Abbey I shared the history of the Abbey and Benedictine community with her. Everyone loved her. I will miss her always and pray that God comforts her family through their loss. Fred Mayer Class of 1963”
