It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Catherine Meyers Kingston (Saint Benedict, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 24, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Oubre Meyers and Ernest Henry Meyers, Sr.; her brothers, Ernest H. Meyers, Jr. and Richard Meyers; and her grandson Nicholas Kingston.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Kingston, Jr.; her children, Gregory Paul Kingston (Heidi), Karen Ann Kingston Usner (Larry), Michael Edward Kingston, Patricia Jean Kingston Paz, Randy Joseph Kingston, Kenneth Gerard Kingston, Sr. (Laura) and Jennifer Elizabeth Kingston Frambes (Ray); her grandchildren, Melissa Usner Jones, Rebecca Usner McKee (Peter), Jessica Paz Jones (Siôn), Natalie Kingston Richard (Brian), Derek Usner, Emily Kingston, Megan Burke Jenkins (Bryan), Kenny G. Kingston, Jr. (Ellen), Camille Kingston, Chloe Kingston, Emily Fontenot, Zachary Kingston and Zoe Kingston; her great grandchildren, Charles E. Jones, Jessie L. Jones, Mark A. Jones, Noah McKee, Rhys F. S. Jones and Alec Wynn D. Jones; and her great great grandchildren, Nathan J. Jones, Samuel E. Jones, Ella I. Hollier, Riley Jones and Andre Chiasson. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Mrs. Kingston to Our Lady of Prompt Succor School, Chalmette or St Jane de Chantal Church, Abita Springs.
