Catherine Eileen Kelly left this world on January 2, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her daughter Alaina Theresa Bourgeois; her parents, June Compton Kelly and John Joseph Kelly Sr.; and her brothers, Martin Patrick Kelly and Robert Boyd Kelly.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Bourgeois (Linette) and Eric Bourgeois (Shanna); and her grandchildren, Jacob Bourgeois, Jordyn Bourgeois and Evan Phillips. She is also survived by her siblings and nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery (75376 River Rd, St Benedict, LA 70457). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Abbey Church (75376 River Rd, St Benedict, LA 70457). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery (75376 River Rd, St Benedict, LA 70457).
