She was predeceased by: her husband Paul V. Bourgeois; her daughter Gail; her son-in-law Winton Lavigne; her daughter Cheryl; her parents, Alphonse Mayer and Marie Lanoux Mayer; and her brothers, John L, Noel and Albert Mayer.
She is survived by: her children, Cornell (Melanie), Donnie (Donna), Barry, Brad (Kim), Jamie and Tammie (Bryan); and her grandchildren, Christian, Micah, Elise, Ty, Shannon, Brandi, Misty, Natalie, Sally, Renee, Jacques, Jason, Gabrielle, Joshua, Kade, Victoria, Katie, Chauntelle, Jared, Trey and Corey. She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (44450 LA-429, St Amant, LA 70774). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
