She was predeceased by: her former husband Rene Bourgeois; her husband Johnny Nickens; her sons, Clifford Bourgeois and Anthony Bourgeois; her parents, Clyde Richardson and Leanna Savoy Richardson; her siblings, Lottie R. Bourgeois and Ronald Richardson; and her stepchildren, Debra N. Blouin, Sandra N. Sheppard, Rhonda N. Coppenbarger, Chantel N. Yates and Acklyn Nickens.
She is survived by: her children, Rene (Kim Bourgeois), Sherry "Tutti" (Terry Templet), Blaine (Becky Bourgeois), Daphne (Chris Lambert), Bryant Bourgeois and Rachel (Shannon Reynolds); her stepchildren, Donna, Jerry Lambert, Jacklyn N. Stevens, Kathy N. Lear and Johnny P. Nickens; and her brother Charles Richardson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Louisiana United Methodist Children's Home of Southeast Louisiana.
