It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Paul Mayers of Saint Amant, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Mayers (Hebert) and Lawrence Mayers; and his sister Mary Lee Guidry. He is survived by: his wife Diane Mayers (Moore); his daughters, Julie Brown (Billy Brown), Kristie Regini (John Regini) and Laurie Roberts (James "Robby" Roberts); and his grandchildren, Kendall of Jefferey, Audrey, Johnny, Gloria, Ryleigh, Kayleigh, Layton and Amelie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ascension Funeral Home (426 W New River St, Gonzales, LA 70737). Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (42021 LA-621, Gonzales, LA 70737). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
