She was predeceased by: her husband Ernie Bercegeay; her parents, VJ Sanchez and Dot Moody; her sister Darla Landry; her brother-in-law Gary Boudreaux; and her mother-in-law Audrey Bercegeay.
She is survived by: her children, Virgie Montz (Ryan) and Jared "Boo" Bercegeay (Katie); her grandchildren, Kole Baker, Mason Montz, Gavin Montz, Audrey Bercegeay, Maizy Bercegeay and Baker Bercegeay; her sisters, Monica Boudreaux and Tammy Charbonnet (Jimmy); her stepmother Margaret Sanchez; her father-in-law Pee Wee Bercegeay; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Bercegeay, Wayne Bercegeay, Rodney Bercegeay (Joann), Patti Alford and Tammy Blanchard (Numa). She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Ochsner ALS Clinic, The Team Gleason Foundation, Baton Rouge Hospice, and each of Mona's caregivers, friends, and family.
