She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Messina and Mary Messina; her husband Philip Caruso; her children, Aline Payne and Rodney Caruso; and her son-in-law Hughie Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Slaughter, Phyllis Bell and Kenneth Caruso. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous neighborhood grandchildren.
