He was predeceased by: his wife Lottie Bourgeois; his parents, Eve Bourgeois and Constant Bourgeois; his son Eric Clyde Bourgeois; and his grandson Harrison Melancon.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Bourgeois, Bonnie Rodriguez (Randy), Terri Jacob (Rickie) and Scott Bourgeois (Rebecca). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (44450 LA-429, St Amant, LA 70774). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
