It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Earl Powers Jr. of Saint Amant, Louisiana, born in Gonzales, Louisiana, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E Powers, Sr. and Margaret L. Landry Powers; and his brother George Powers. He is survived by: his wife Edith Chartin Powers; his daughter Shawn (Gerald Painter); his grandsons, Cody, Justin and Austin Painter; his brothers, Lloyd, Donald, Lawrence and David (Sherlyn); his nephews, Ralph, Zachary and Cory Powers; and his great-nephew Cody Powers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations my be made in his honor to the ARC (Community Opportunity of East Ascension Parish/COEA).
