He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Savoy and Hilda Clouatre Savoy; his brothers, Ellis Savoy, Wilton Savoy and Perry Savoy; and his nephews, Robbie Savoy, Jr. and Clint Delaune.
He is survived by: his children, Kitzie (Dylan Major), Ean (Katie Fugler Savoy) and Jessica (Donnie Miller); his grandchildren, Corynn Major, Elliot Savoy, Ellis Savoy, Cole Miller and Mae Miller; his brother Robbie Savoy, Sr. (Judy Schilling Savoy); and his sisters-in-law, Julie Russ Savoy and Linda Guitreau Savoy. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (44450 LA-429, St Amant, LA 70774). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association in memory of his mother.
