Hughes; his children, Willie B. Jr. and Susie; his stepdaughter Deborah Cruse; his wives, Roxie Brooks Hughes and Jean Creech Hughes; and his great grandchild Natalie McMillian.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jamie Hughes (Melissa), Christopher Hughes and Amanda Hughes McMillian (Johnathan).
