She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Robert S. Magee; her parents, Olin Timothy Spell and Ella Graves Spell; and her siblings, Olene Spell Fowler and Joe Graves Spell.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Bruce Robert Magee of Ruston and Vivian Gayle Magee Red (Clark Red) of Richardson, TX; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Magee, Miles Larkin (Susan), Jonathan Magee (Tiffany), Anna Red Pringle (Evan Pringle), Olivia Red Auzenne (Steven Auzenne), Beverly Red and Kerr Magee; her great grandchildren, Amelia Vivian Larkin, Robert Larkin and Finn Magee; her sisters, Jane Spell Funderburk (Carl Funderburk), Nelda Spell Mitchell (Dennis Mitchell) and Eloise Spell Corley (Chuck Corley); and also Biddy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Robert and Vivian Magee Scholarship Fund at Temple Baptist Church.
