With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Orr (Ruston, Louisiana), who passed away on April 24, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lee and Lonie Orr; his siblings, Ed Orr and Irma McKee; and his son-in-law Ed Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtis Chandler Orr; his daughters, Virginia Orr Rice of Little Rock, AR and Marilyn Orr Hyams (Bill) of Ruston; his grandchildren, Ron Weiland of Monroe, Brian Weiland (Laura) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Toni Hyams Crawford (Dickie) of Ruston and Daniel Hyams (Michelle) of Madison, AL; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Weiland, Beau, Landon Weiland, Emma Crawford Richardson (Danny), Adam Crawford, Nate Hyams, Sam Hyams and Adrienne Hyams. He is also survived by his two daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
