It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tootsie Colvin of Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duster P. Peterson and Vida Lee Peterson; and her siblings, Max, Hilburn, James, Monnie D and Yvonne.
She is survived by: her husband Herman Dale Colvin; and her children, Brenda Dillard, Delores (Scott Perkins), Max Colvin (Charisa), Wally Colvin (Kathleen), Rusty Colvin (Jennifer), Kim (Vern Havis) and Bill Colvin. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
She remained physically functional until the time of the Covid pandemic.
Virginia spent the last 8 years in long term care due to the debilitating disease known as Alzheimer's.
