He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel G. Fuqua and Arnie S. Fuqua of Effie, Louisiana.; his brother Gerald Fuqua; and his daughter Lisa Fuqua. He is survived by: his wife Betty Fuqua; his son Keith Fuqua; and his grandchildren, Mary-Taylor Fuqua, Maggie Fuqua and Hayes Fuqua. He is also survived by his two children and was a supportive grandfather to his three grandchildren.
