He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Edmiston and Charlie Edmiston. He is survived by: his sons, Keith Edmiston (Suzie) of Leander, TX, Brent Edmiston (Valerie) of Pearland, TX, Jay Edmiston (Michelle) of Longwood, FL and Brian Edmiston of Homer, LA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (2300 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Simsboro City Cemetery.
