Maybelle Shadoin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maybelle Shadoin of Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Shadoin, Jr.; her parents, Jesse J. Motley and Clara Mays Motley; her siblings, Katherine Mills, Mary Ann Lewis and Millard J. Motley; and her stepson Ronald G. Shadoin.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis G. Stewart and Marilyn S. Neaville (Philip); her stepson Rob Shadoin (Carol); her grandchildren, Jamie Godbold, David Godbold, Kimberly Littlefield, John Ludwig, Chris Ludwig, Erroll Neaville, Catherine Stradling and Evan Stewart; and her stepgrandchildren, Ginny Canterbury, Robbie Shadoin, Sarah Duke, Shelby Brazzel, Justin Shadoin and Tyler Shadoin. She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren as well as other family members and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (200 S Trenton St, Ruston, LA 71270). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church Library at First Baptist Church of Ruston.
