She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hedgepeth and Agnes Hedgepeth; her former husband Loyce Burgess; her husband James Hammett; and her brothers, Billy Hedgepeth and Loy Hedgepeth.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Lee (Johnny) of Ruston, LA.; her granddaughter Lexie Scriber (Jeremy) of Minden, LA; her great grandchildren, Luke Scriber and Andrew Scriber; and her nieces and nephews, Fred Baxter, Carl Calvin Thomas Jr., Martha White, Janelle Sullivan and Cindy Thomas Bennett.
