It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Jones of Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Pixley and Minnie Ova Lewis Finley; her siblings, Dorothy McMichael, Lewis A. "Buddy" Pixley and Billie Jean Meek; and her half-brother Bobby Dewey Pixley.
She is survived by: her child While; her stepfather Arthur Finley; her significant other James Carroll Jones; and her children, Denise Smith of Simsboro, Becky Gemelli (Bernard) of Ruston, James "Bubba" Jones (Brenda) of Downsville and Lewis Jones (Natalia) of Ruston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Baptist Church at 200 South Trenton Street, Ruston, LA 71270.
