He is survived by: his wife Nellie Moreland; his children, David Moreland of Dallas, Mike Moreland of Dallas, Richard Moreland of Huntsville, Kerry Merritt of West Monroe and Allison Merritt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.; and his siblings, Juanita McAdoo of Huntington Beach, Marlene Gill of Houston and Edd Moreland of Union City, Tennessee.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
