He was predeceased by: his parents, James Finley and Elsie Finley. He is survived by: his wife Lil Goss Finley; his children, Beverly Finley Hassell (Shayne), Laura Finley Griffin (Michael) and Jimmy Finley; his stepchildren, Lance Kelpe (Rebecca) and Morgan Kelpe Northen (Gary); and his grandchildren, Sydney, Walker, William, Violet, Johnny, Kate, Janey, Madalyn, Shelby, Mason and Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Warriors & Quiet Waters Foundation.
