He was predeceased by: his parents, William Turner and Addie Causey; his wife Marjorie Louise Day Turner; and his siblings, Claudie Mitchell Turner, William "Billy" Turner, Rhode Turner and Minnie Neeles.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Turner of Ruston and Stephen Turner (Sylvia) of Choudrant, LA; his grandchildren, Sarah Louise Turner Castaneda (Dylan Castaneda) of Ruston and Joshua Paul Turner (Chelsey) of Farmerville, LA; his stepgrandson David Horn of Ruston; his great grandchildren, Emery Castaneda of Ruston, Olivia Castaneda of Ruston and Madison Turner of Farmerville; and his sisters, Addie Pearl "Pep" Lynde of Quitman and Bettye Sue Turner Pate of Jonesboro, LA.
