He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Higgins Spiller; his parents, Fredrick Spiller and Nora Meadows Spiller; and his siblings, Cecil, Loyal Childress, Geneva Spiller Darr, Atlee, Glendee, Gerald, Clifford, Freeman and John Spiller.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Spiller Taylor (Terry) of West Monroe, LA; his granddaughters, Tara Taylor Morris (Josh) of Slaughter, LA and Sara Taylor Richard (Jarrett) of Youngsville, LA; and his great grandchildren, June, Ruben Morris and Baby Richard.
