Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Wisterman; her son Joseph Wisterman; and her parents, James Booty and Ina Massey Booty. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Wisterman of Choudrant, LA, Steve Wisterman of Seattle, WA, Kim Wisterman Phelps of Las Vegas, NV and Rebekah Wisterman Durham of Prairieville, LA; her grandchildren, Luke Wisterman, Jillian Cannon, Graham Phelps, Sarah Wisterman and Hannah Wisterman; her great grandchild Ronan Cannon; her sister Dora Jane Sales of Dallas, TX.; and also Sharon Wisterman of Houston, TX.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 3000 S Vienna St, Ruston, LA 71270. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens (8729 Cypress St, West Monroe, LA 71291).
The family ask that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
