She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Clifford Cartwright; her parents, Clyde Grafton Melton and Lillie V. Melton (Womack); and her brother Charles G. Melton. She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Ezell; her grandson David Ezell (Tyeler); and her great grandchild Declan Ezell.
