It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil F. Gilmore of Ruston, Louisiana, born in Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glennie Gilmore and Nick Gilmore; and his sister Virginia Gilmore Stansbury. He is survived by: his wife Leah McGruder Gilmore; his sons, Danny Gilmore (Peggy) of Ruston and David Gilmore (Michele) of Hickory Creek, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Jared Gilmore (Kristin), Meghan Gilmore Black (Jason), Cameron Gilmore (Hilary), Sean Gilmore, Allison Gilmore and Eric Gilmore.
