He was predeceased by: his parents, James William (J. W.) and Hattie May Martin (Simonton); his brother Leonard H. Martin; his parents-in-law, Aaron and Clavis Wiltcher; and his siblings-in-law, Aaron Junior Wiltcher and Barbara Wiltcher.
He is survived by: his wife Christine "Chris" Wiltcher; his children, Mike Martin (Vicki) of Simsboro and Marti Garlington (Tim) of Calhoun; his grandchildren, Jason Martin (Julie) of Benton, Rob Martin, Christina Thiels of Bossier City, Michael-Anne and Garrett Garlington of Calhoun; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Grayson Martin of Benton; his stepgrandsons, Justin Sain (Holly) of Bossier City and Brian Sain of Baton Rouge; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Morgan and Macy Sain of Bossier City; his sisters, Mary Dugdale (James) of Sibley and Bettye Ruth James (Ted) of Albuquerque, NM; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Jean Martin of Ruston and Roy Wiltcher of Ruston.
