With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Abner Norman of Ruston, Louisiana, born in Jena, Louisiana, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Norman and Gladys Brown Norman; his siblings, Travis Norman and Avis Hinton; his brother-in-law Jimmy Hall; and his grandson Gary Baldwin.

He is survived by: his wife Judy of Ruston; his children, Stacy Norman (Sheila) of Ruston, Memory Whittington of Ruston and Kala (Arthur Butter) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Savannah Norman of Ruston, Justin Norman, Morgan of Simsboro, Emily White, Dewayne Traylor of Georgetown, Zoie Whittington of Ruston and Timothy Baldwin (Mickie) of Dry Prong; his great grandchild Lucille "Lucy" Rose Traylor of Georgetown; his sister Oneida Hall of Jena; his nieces, Kristy Ford of Jena and Kim (Justin Pool) of Calhoun; and his friend John Whittington.
