We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2023, at the age of 86, Tressie Lavaune Scarborough Cook of Rosepine, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Scarborough and Carroll Scarborough; her siblings, Welton, Melton Scarborough and Teenie Garsee; and her grandson Everett Morgan.
She is survived by: her husband Grady Cook; her children, Lequita Johnson of Natchitoches, Cindy Morgan (Leslie) and Grady Cook Jr. (Rhonda) of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Chris Goldman, Laura Trosen (Chris), Rachel Zobeck (Mark), Stewart Morgan (RoShunna), Grady Cook III (Britney) and Dylan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Lydia Zobeck, Lewis, Chase, Keziah Trosen, Rowan, Campbell, Landry, Diamond Cook and Amara Lea-Morgan; and her siblings, Ruble Scarborough (Phyllis) and Doretha Bond. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
