George Simmons Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Simmons of Rosepine, Louisiana, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Simmons and Juanita Dunwoodie Simmons; his wife Doris Simmons; and his son Earl Simmons. He is survived by: his daughter LuLu Kubena (Gerard) of El Campo, TX; his daughter-in-law Linda Simmons of DeRidder, LA; his siblings, Bernice Nolde (Dick), Marie Hawkins (Curtis), Louise Johnston (Charles), Maurine Moses (Lloyd), Glenda Hunt (Louis), Rita Viera, Nina Fodell (George) and Donald Simmons (Pauline); his grandchildren, Earl Wayne Simmons, Jr., Justin Elvin Simmons (Kimberlee), Amanda Kubena and Brandy Kubena; and his great grandchildren, Devon, Kasen, Jaxstin, Jacee, Brooklyn, Matthew, Kyle, Taylor and Austin. He is also survived by friends and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
