It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Sue Smith Jarrell in Rosepine, Louisiana, born in Deridder, Louisiana, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hollis Elderson Jarrell Jr.; and her parents, William Wayne Smith and Faye Ellen Eason Smith. She is survived by: her brother David Smith (Teresa) of DeRidder, LA; her nephews, Christopher Smith (Rai) of Houston, TX and Bradley Smith (Christine) of Daytona, FL; her niece Denise Dodson (Michael) of Westlake, LA; and her close friends, Brenda Stanley, Lisa Evans, Carleigh Benjamin and Kelli Guidry. She is also survived by six great-nieces and nephews.
