She was predeceased by: her husband L. C. Mize; her parents, Bennie Ricks and Pearl Bond Ricks; her stepdaughter Vickie Mize Mitchell; her siblings, Ruby Faye Ricks, Maurice Ricks and Alfred Ricks; and her siblings-in-law, Kirk Russell, Tom Corona, Charlie Hudspeth, Nancy Ricks and Sharon Ricks.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Wilson (Tracy); her grandchildren, Reide, Regan and Laurel Wilson; her stepson-in-law Terry Mitchell; her stepgrandson Trey Mitchell; and her siblings, Louise Russell, Robert Ricks (Pat), Thelma Simmons (Hillary), Carroll Ann Corona and Jewel Hudspeth-Harrell (Danny). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
