She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Brister (Mary Ellen) of Amite, LA and Gail Brister Helms (Don Helms) of Hammond, LA; her granddaughters, Denise Brister Murphy (Patrick) of Amite, LA, Amanda Brister Bales (David) of Amite, LA and Melissa Taylor Tate (Leo) of Loranger, LA; and her great grandchildren, Kamryn Denise Murphy, Kaylyn Denise Murphy, Lexon Rae Bales, Maison Brister Bales, MeKenna Rae Tate and Ryan Jordan Tate.
