It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ralph Bowers of Rodessa, Louisiana, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bowers and Addie Welborn Bowers; his brother Ray Bowers; and his niece Vicki Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Sherre Bowers; his children, Samantha Bowers, Joseph Bowers, Michelle, James Greer and Brandon Fort; his grandchildren, Thai Bowers, Jesse James Greer Jr., Michael A. Greer, Nikki Greer Melancon (Seth), Keegan Fort, Barrett Fort and Olivia Fort; his great grandchildren, Greyson Greer, Gannon Greer, Jesse James Greer III, Raelynn Melancon, Evelynne Melancon, Beau, Coy and Jaylee Grundy; his niece Teresa Bowers Grate House (Todd); his nephew Brian Bowers (DeeDee); and his sister-in-law Lois Bowers. He is also survived by 3 great nieces an 1 great nephew.
