He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Viola Parks; his parents, Percy Parks and Belva Howard Parks; and his son Scott Parks. He is survived by: his son Paul Parks (Shontea); and his brother Ralph Parks (Peggy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
His contributions to the committee were invaluable, as he dedicated himself to the upkeep of the cemetery grounds and ensuring that the final resting place of community members was maintained with dignity and respect.
