He is survived by: his wife Gloria Nell Hayes Spencer; his sons, Johnny Spencer, Sr. (Margarett) and Bruce Spencer (Jenise); and his grandchildren, Christy Ticheli, Victoria Armstrong, Allen Spencer and Johnny Spencer, Jr..
