He is survived by: his wife Elaine Root Nicosia; his children, John Nicholas Nicosia, Jr. (Becky), Lisa Nicosia Bonanno and Gary Peter Nicosia (Linda); his grandchildren, Lindsey Nicosia Staiger, John Nicholas Nicosia, III (Victoria), Courtney Elaine Nicosia and Monica Bonanno Bourgoyne (Brad); his great grandchildren, Madison Rose Staiger and Conor Samuel Bourgoyne; and his brother Thomas "Tommy" Nicosia.
