She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Nelson and Aline Nelson of Robeline; and her siblings, Syble Gray of Adel, GA and Donald Nelson of Robeline. She is survived by: her son Dr. Willie Hey (Donna) of Sterlington, LA; and her siblings, Ronald Nelson (Fran), Dean Nelson (Pat), Mary Laroux of Robeline, Trudy Nelson of Robeline, Sandy Ramirez (Johnny) of Mineloa, TX, Vera Priest (JR) of Troup, TX, Janet Price of Jacksonville, TX and Mable Bachelor of Highland Home, AL. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests making a donation in her name to either St Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
