She was predeceased by: her husband Arvie Broadway (Buster); her parents, J. F. Sims and Mary Lou Sims (Craig); and her siblings, LeRoy Sims, Otis Abner Sims, J. C. Sims, William "Bill" Sims, Pearlie Horn and Eunice McCauslin.
She is survived by: her siblings, John M. Sims and Viola Sims Simmons. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association.
