He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Welch and Goldie Welch; his wife Belva Jean Lauw Welch; and his siblings, Avis Joyce Welch, Gilbert Linell Welch, William Johnny Welch, Alvin Rickey Welch and Raymond Allen Welch.
He is survived by: his brother Ralph Welch (Sally); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Welch, June Welch and Martha Bova. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as a large extended family.
