He is survived by: his parents, Cyrus William and Ollie Calhoun Tietje; his wife Lesley Jenkins Tietje; his children, Violet Jolie (Ryan) of Roanoke, Emma Tietje (Bob Gordon) of Roanoke and William Tietje (Heather) of Lake Arthur; his siblings, Linda Barnes (Randy) of Cabot, AR and Dennis Tietje (Trudy) of Roanoke; and his grandchildren, Amiell Tietje, Eli Jolie, Eleanor Gordon, Isaiah Tietje, Elijah Tietje and Jack Gordon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Roanoke United Methodist Church to help defer funeral cost.
