She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Cretchan and Elijah Jackson; her husband John W. Simon, Sr.; her sons, Joseph Wayne Simon and Jason Max Simon; her siblings, Rosella Andrus, Felton Jackson and Eugene Jackson; and her grandchildren, Heather Savoy, LaToyha Savoy and Kendra Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Lionel Simon (Kathryn) of Newport News, VA., John Simon, Jr. (Saprina) of Roanoke, LA., Sandra Simon of Welsh, LA., Carol Antoine of Roanoke, LA., Drusilla Fontenot (Hampton) of Jennings, LA. and Melinda Simon of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
