He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bucklin of Roanoke and Myrtle Phenice Bucklin (Phenice) of Hathaway, Louisiana.; his son Dale Edward Bucklin of Federal Way, WA; and his sisters, Sylvia Pilcher, Alma Waldorf and Betty Lou Landry.
He is survived by: his son John Austin Bucklin; his daughter-in-law Margaret Theriot Bucklin; his daughters, Anita Marie Bucklin and Mary Ann Bucklin Long; his grandchildren, Alex Hebert, Julian Bucklin, Maysie Bucklin, Carli Bucklin, Michael Kunzler, Aidan Long and Violet Long; and his sister Loris V. Woolley. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
