We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ruth Dorsa Fontenelle of River Ridge, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Dorsa and Helen Dorsa; her brothers, Theodore, Lawrence and Robert Dorsa; and her children, Wayne Fontenelle and Gail Glesener.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Fontenelle (Suzy), Steve Fontenelle, Charlie Fontenelle (Bridget), John Fontenelle (Celeste) and Rene'Brockhoeft; and her daughter-in-law Kate Gundersen. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church (10021 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge, LA 70123). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a memorial donation to the American Heart Association.
