It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Bourg Askew of River Ridge, Louisiana, born in Garyville, Louisiana, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey Wayne Askew; her parents, Velma Johnston Bourg and Alfred Bourg, Sr.; and her brother Alfred Bourg, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Scholle (Sam), Connie Arnell (Blake), Elizabeth Paretti (Joe), Nancy Bordelon (Michael) and Stacie Hicks (James); and her siblings, Helen Brignac (Milton), Zelmire Stoute (Leroy), Sydney Bourg (Patricia), Elward Bourg, Paula Hoffman (Clark), Elizabeth Bourg and Peter Bourg. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
