She was predeceased by: her mother Juana Trujillo; her husband Alfredo Masrrua; and her sister Caridad Seoane. She is survived by: her daughters, Francisca Gorman (Walter) and Rosalia Steele (Ronald); her grandchildren, Yamila Alonso (Joel), Alexander Gorman (Katie), Michelle Harris (Russell) and Elizabeth Caldarera (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Olivia Gorman, Kayla, Zackary Gorman, Luna Harris, Adrianna, Michael and Mila Caldarera.
In lieu of flowers, Maria expressed her wishes of donations to her favorite charity and can be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
