She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Sherman Whitehorn; her son Richard Whitehorn (Patsy); her parents, Samuel Cox and Mary Roberts Cox; and her brother Samuel Cox.
She is survived by: her child Ryland Whitehorn (Renea); her grandchildren, Jamie Mullis (Jacob) and Kelsi Carlile (Chad); her great grandchildren, Kinley Mullis, Cooper Mullis, Rhea Carlile and June Carlile; her siblings, Alton Cox, Claude Cox, Bessie Moody, Minnie Lee Childers, William Cox, James Cox, Ada Cox, Jasper Cox, Mary Etta Matthews and Robbie Cox; and her family Lord.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home (2607 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Memories Cemetery (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Francis Villas Assisted Living, 10411 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge, LA.
